Open the door you want to install the portable door lock on
Attach the lock plate to the stainless steel latch plate by placing the arrow on top of the movable piece and sliding it through
Standing inside the room, place the stainless steel latch onto the existing plate on the door

NOTE: The movable piece should be positioned at the bottom of the arrowhead to reinforce the lock plate

Close the door to keep the lock in place. The pressure from the Portable Door Lock will keep the door secure
